Barcelona is definitely a wondrous city. During my visit, there happened to be a match between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. Oh man, the whole experience was amazing.

My sister in law when this year a couple of months ago, she loved it she of course speaks Spanish so it was a fun experience listing to the different dialects they used, she also went to a game in Barcelona as well letting me know its like a super bowl every time they plan that's how much they love their futbol.. Need to plan my own trip that wonderful area.

Barcelona is one of my top 5 places I've ever been to! You are right, the combination between beach and city center / nightlife is just perfect

the sagrada familia is really a MASTERPIECE. I saw it in person last year and it's crazy how intricate the details are! And think about the technology that they had when building it..
unbelieve that mankind could create a building like this from scratch!

I went to barcelona once with my class back in 2012 and my beautiful memories of the city are still there. I especially enjoyed the food and the days at the beach. Would love to be back in barcelona!

Yes it is a great place, I have had the opportunity to visit this great city 4 times in the past and will again in 2017. I hope they win their succession they strive for.

@sirwinchester i'm glad you enjoyed my city ! The Sagrada Familia is breathtaking. There is also Parc Güell that you would enjoy plus other buildings throughout the city. I hope you walked through Las Ramblas, a long street that starts with the statue of Colon. Thanks for sharing your experience!
