RE: Visiting the Lovely City Of Vienna, Just For Sightseeing

in #travel7 years ago (edited)

That sounds like a lot if hassle honestly :( I know how you feel though. I used to go by bus from Amsterdam to Berlin and back almost every month. By car it's about 7 hours, but by bus I generally was for 8 to 11 hours on the road!

Glad I moved to Berlin now so I don't need to travel 700km to see my girlfriend anymore - now she's right next to me in the house!

I've never been to Vienna but I'm sure it's beautiful out there.

I saw you're a biochemist. That's cool! My girlfriend is in chemistry as well!

Following you :D

Hi, @sjennon. Pleased to meet you first time on my blog. It was really a lot of hazzle for me travelling for hours unend by bus. Anyway, I had no choice, but to travel that way. Wow! Travelling from Amsterdam to Berlin and back by bus once every month was a big sacrifice for sake of your girlfriend. I'm happy that you are together now in Berlin. Guess what? I visited Berlin in 2012 and stayed there for 1 week on tour. It was quite interesting. I have lots of photos from my visit to Berlin. Yes, I'm a biochemist and it's good to know that your girlfriend is a chemist. Vienna is a city that I would love to visit over and over again. It's indeed a beautiful city. I think you should create time with your girlfriend to visit the beutiful city. Thanks for the follow and wonderful contribution. I'll check out your blog ASAP. Cheers.

Yeah, I can imagine! And we made turns in the bus, so it wasn't that bad. Also if you do it often, you kind of start getting used to it - however no way in hell I am doing that again! Now I am spoiled with planes and it's not worth to sit in that bus at all!

Oh, that's great! It is a couple of years before I moved to Berlin. I hope you had a lot of fun.

I will be leaving in January to travel in Asia, however when I come back I will take her to different cities throughout Europe for sure!

Cheers!
