Yes, make sure you prepare your trip in advance. Have a list of all the spots you absolutely want to hit and group them in geographical areas so you don't have to back-track. Public transportation is super-efficient, clean and safe (this is not Paris or New York!!!!) and from each hub, walk, walk, walk, take in the neighborhood, and you'll find yourself discovering some cool places that weren't on your list without missing the ones that are.
