Hi, everyone! I’m Claire I love to explore the beautiful paradise of the Pearl of the Orient Philippines joined me in my escapade; surely you will love the beauty of Siquijor and Apo Island.
Visiting the Philippines is big fun. Perfect beaches, friendly people and wonderful nature besides, it's a very affordable country to travel you'll get a great value for your money.
The Filipinos hospitality is incomparable to the rest of the world. Filipinos are the kindest and friendly people, extremely welcoming, curious, and respectful. They always smile.
Let's explore Siquijor
For most Filipinos, Siquijor is a mysterious other-world of witchcraft and the unknown. True, this tiny island province is famous for its mountain-dwelling mangkukulam (witches/healers) who brew traditional ointments for modern ailments. But these days Siquijor is most popular healing practice involves a cocktail and a deckchair at any number of its laid-back and wonderfully affordable beach resorts.
Attractions include great diving, waterfalls, caves and forest walks in the hilly interior. Just about everywhere on Siquijor is great for snorkeling to find the nearest beach and dive in. Like many beaches in the Visayas, swimming is only possible during high tide, and wearing flip-flops is recommended as protection against sea urchins.
The Philippines are one of the largest island groups in the world with 7,107 islands.
Siquijor islands and beaches are Island Paradise. Amazing! If you are into white sandy beaches and turquoise crystal-clear waters, you're on the right island. It's not hard to find your dream beach or a paradise island having it all for you.
Let us explore Apo Island,
located in the Philippines, and is rated one of the top ten (10) dive sites in the world. Surrounded by hundreds of species of fish and marine life, the island is a jewel of the underworld. Spectacular diving is usually accessible at deep sea level, but a beautiful reef is found right beyond the shores of Apo Island Beach Resort. Apo Island Beach Resort is nestled in a private cove within unique rock formations on a beautiful white beach.
The average yearly temperature is around 26.6°C.
Fortunately, the weather in the Philippines does not reach a point of extreme hot or extremely cold temperatures, so you can easily adapt to the tropical weather. The best time to go is between November and May.
