A birthday gift for my son’s 6th birthday. Quality time together in Crown Plaza, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

It was my son’s 6th birthday and was thinking on how to celebrate.

During this days, celebrating birthdays can be a little bit expensive and time consuming. Preparation on venues, inviting guests, and accommodating them, takes more time and less for your family.

My way of celebrating his birthday is by spending more quality time with him and by doing this, we went to Crown Plaza Hotel in Yas Island Abu Dhabi and enjoyed the day with the family. There we had more time together, having fun, conversation, bonding, interacting with each other.

My son’s birthday is actually during the weekdays but it was conflict with our work schedule so we planned to shift it on the weekend. But before our main celebration, we celebrated in our house on the exact date of his birthday. We bought him a cake and icecream to make him happy.

The weekend arrived, and the main celebration came. We started to wake up early and head on our way to Crown Plaza in Yas Island.

But before we went to the hotel, we first pass by IKEA in Yas Island where we eat the morning breakfast.

We also went to Yas Mall but wasn’t able to take any photos, after that, we went on our way to Crown Plaza.

The place was nice, elegant, they have a Fine lounge and we took some photos

We went on our way to the rooms. The room was nice, relaxing, we rented two rooms to be more comfortable.

After resting a few minutes, we go for swimming. Landscape was perfect, we can see some golf lawn before the sea. And a perfect horizon during sunset.

After an enjoyable swimming, we went back up to our room and to my surprise the hotel gave my son a cake for his birthday.

Amazing skyline of AbuDhabi, even far away from the city, we can still see the silhouette of the buildings of Abu Dhabi.

We went for a dinner on their fine dining.

The decorations was very nice, their ceiling catches my attention and was impressed on their idea of hanging some sort of a sack of woven strips of palm leaves. Placing some lights inside looks perfect.

After our dinner, we walk along Yas Island to see the place at night.

Rentable bicycles can be rented if you want to stroll the place around.

The place was wonderful.

Before going to sleep, we spend our time together, enjoying each and everyone’s campany. It was a very nice evening together on my son’s birthday.

In the morning we had our morning breakfast.

And we went for swimming again.

It was a fantastic day together and my son was so happy celebrating his birthday. It was not how other people celebrate birthdays but this was our way of a simple celebration and a way of spending more time for our son.

So, does it have to be glamorous and expensive to have a perfect birthday? I think not, I think it’s more important to spend time together to strengthen the bond and love for each member of the family.
