Giant squid sightings near the shores of Atlantic ocean
Recently there were reports of "sea monsters" sightings in north Atlantic. Most sightings were on the east coast of north America and near the island of Great Britain. Scientists discovered that those are the same species living in the Pacific Ocean near Japan. They also discovered that they were massively migrating.
They can grow up to 13 m (43 ft) and weigh up to 275 kg. They usually stay between 300 and 1000 m and hunt there, but when they go to surface they are looking for food and hunt smaller squids.
There is no need for panic, a creature that size won't go near shallow. Professional divers always need to be cautious but now they have another thing to watch out about.
I for one welcome our new Cephalopod overlords. :D
They are smart too...

our true overlords
Can they become as big as in the stories of old?
Maybe, none were found yet tho.
