I try very hard not to "Graze" the now fashionable term and word used around the Globe for snacking between Meals !

To Graze or not to Graze - that s the question !

MOMO - TRADITIONALLY SERVED IN A CIRCLE WITH DIPS IN THE CENTRE - my current favourite Snack

Snacking has had good and bad press and had been highly frowned upon between meals for many people and some nutritionalists - of course sometimes Grazing is a health requirement.

However eating between meals ( snacking) has become one of the highest grossing industries with entrepreneurs globally all desperately seeking to develop and bring us the next best Snack to Market - from assorted Nut boxes to Popcorn to Coconut Chips. What ever food you fancy eating it is likely someone has created it in Snack form !

I've heard even the term "Mindful Snacking" being used ... is this another way to make us feel better about snacking - even spirtural in some way so we feel better ?

When we use the word "Grazing" does it make us feel closer to nature and therefore spiritual and in touch with all things natural and beautiful. Maybe?

While travelling India where the Cow is sacred and worshipped as the highest being and is fed by all seems perfectly content Grazing all day.
Cows are one of the most beautiful of all creatures - soft doleful eyes - long eyelashes - calm - relaxed -with a wonderful spirit. The Cow is my favourite all day Grazer !

Whatever your view point, my thought process is everything in moderation and Grazing can be a very uplifting requirement.

Momo is my new found Grazing snack - what a treat to bridge my appetite until dinner. I first tasted Momo in Darjeeling and was hooked!
A Warm South Asian Dumpling parcel of heaven for your tastebuds . Tradtionally found in Tibet, Darjeeling and Nepal its an amazing Snack when temperatures are low.

Momo can either be fried or steamed and filled with an assortment of ingredients - from vegetables to chicken, served with chilli sauces and soya sauces simply delicious. Similar to the Japanese Gyoza or Dim Sum.

I love both the fried and Steamed - though Steamed is the Healthier Graze !
