Ending my trip through Vietnam in Hanoi

Somewhere in february I started a 5-week travel in Cambodja, Siem Reap, going for Angkor Wat and some other stops there. It was the continuation of a journey I started last year that was unfortunately broken off too soon because of a family emergency.

From Siem Reap we went to Hoi An (the place where I would've continued my travels a year ago) by plane, then Phong Nha, then Ninh Bin, and now we're in Hanoi to end this beautiful journey that I promise to post a little more about.

Reflecting on a month of traveling I suddenly wondered where all my Hive peepz of Vietnam are, and if some of you live in Hanoi? It's always the end of a journey where I calm down and find time to actually be in a place instead of running from one place to the next. @gtg mentioned I should try to find you through @worldmappin which is what I'm doing now.

Anyway, let me know if you're local in Hanoi and reading this and have some great tips that I shouldn't miss this weekend or in the next few days :-) And find me on Telegram (soyrosa) or Discord (soyrosa) if you want to meet up for coffee when the short time I have left allows it.

It's been a long time Soy, long time no post. It's good to see you're enjoying your travels. Did you permanently leave the Netherlands, or you'll probably return?

That is awesome!! I want to do a 5-week trip somewhere! haha The most I have done is a 2 week, well not including in my early 20's with my parents it was about a month.

Have fun! I've not seen much of Asia, but maybe I'll get to Vietnam some day.

Yay so great to see a post from you. Nice. @dodovietnam would be so fun to meet.
