Hello dears! Every time I visit St. Petersburg in summer, I always visit such a popular excursion as a boat trip along the canals and small rivers. St. Petersburg is called the Venice of the North for a reason. There are very much bridges in St. Petersburg and they are all very individual, there are even those, under which there is no water. On the banks of the Fontanka river there are many historical buildings, where famous people lived. For example, the Mikhailovsky castle, named after the Archangel Michael. The castle was built by V. I. Bazhenov, and Paul I lived in it, but he had to live there for only forty days.
Thanks for reading!
