In the Osijek region we paid a visit to an orhanic farm whicj turned out to be an experience we would remember for a long time.
On arrival we were greeted by a horse that thought it was a dog, as once we were inside the gate it happily led our group down the yard to the building where its ownerwas waiting for us. Just like a dog would do, much to our great amusement.
We were intriqued when the owner gave us a tour of his house where beds, tables, chairs, cupboards etc wre hand made from local timber which he had grown himself using organic fundamentals. He stated that all of the fruits, vegetables and meat that he produces are treated with the organic principles after many years of learning and practice.
We then sat down in his restaurant area and enjoyed some organic mead as well as some delicious food that was all sourced from his property. It was a most enjoyable afternoon.
