Just a kilometer or two from central Belgrade is the cute little township of Zemun. Nowadays it is basically a suburb of Belgrade. You can stand on the shores of the Danube and look back at Belgrade on the oppsite bank.
Our walk through the farmers market gave us an insight to all of the local produce available. The fruit, vegetables, cheeses and flowers were all very fresh and looked delicious. Set amongst some lovely old world architecture, it was the perfect spot to spend time browsing all of the market stalls.
