Our last day in Slovenia was also spent with @bachuslib , who drove with us to a lake named “Bled”.
Despite the name, the water wasn’t bloody-red, but a beautiful blue-green. We drove up to the castle (there are so fucking many castles in Europe, and I love them all) and took the obligatory pictures.
Look at this pidgeon!
After a 20 minute climb down the mountain, we had some original “Bled cream cake”, then climbed back up and drove to Ljubljana.
Overestimating the traffic jam that had been caused by construction work, we still had time for dinner together, which was the perfect ending for a wonderful three days. I’m looking forward to repeating this in one way or another!
The train to Florence was over night and had one switch in the small village Villach, where we had to wait for two hours, before our connecting train left around 1 am.
Blejska Kremšnita (cream cake) is the best cake! I Love it.

I had to get used to it. I was picky about food in the past, especially with fatty things. That's why butter doesn't cross my minds.
Kremšnita!!!! <3
Springtime is also beautiful here. Just a hint :)
