After living in Australia for five months, I was ready to hit the road and explore. My funny friend from Norway, @kariannemunch, is visiting, so we decided to drive from Melborune down to Port Campbell on the Great Ocean Road.
I was super excited to see the 12 Apostles!

Driving down the coast of Australia is an experience of a lifetime. You meet people, visit small towns and see a lot of impressing sights. I can really recommend this trip. We book a cozy Airbnb in Port Campbell and right now we're relaxing at a great beach resort in Lorne.
The highlight of this trips was definitely the 12 Apostles. No doubt about it!
Tomorrow we are driving back up to Melbourne to celebrate a friend's birthday. We live right next to amazing Chapel Street, and I can't wait to enjoy one more week in Melbourne.

Very cool! Never been to Australia, but I'd love to make it out there, one of these years.
You really should! It's amazing, especially for us from cold Scandinavia :)
Glad you enjoyed it. I have cycled the Great Ocean Road twice as the last week of cycling from Perth to Melbourne - it is as magical as you describe. Here are two of my photos from 2004
And to show there are koalas as you say - here is mine taken near Heywood.
Oh, wow! We did pass a couple of cyclists on the road and I thought to myself that that looked like an amazing place to be on a bike. How long time did you spend on the bike? Great picutres.
I really enjoyed your posting. I had been to Australia january 2016 and I had the opportunity to visit Great Ocean Road. Good
Cool! What other things did you see in Oz?
I visited Perth, Goldcoast, Brisbane and Sydney apart from Melbourne and Canberra. Canberra is almost a ghost city. Thanks for your reply.
Incredible post!
Thank you!
