Last week I had posted pictures of quest for the "Big 5" on a safari in Kenya. I hadn't mastered the art of moving videos from my iPad to Stemmit yet, but now I have figured out a way! So here are videos to showcase the 4 animals out of the "Big 5" that I was able to experience first hand. Hope you enjoy!
African Lion
We passed this walking lioness and I shot the video through my open window in the Land Rover as we went by within feet of her.
This pretty kitty was taking a break after unsuccessfully chasing after some dinner.
African elephant
We came into a small herd of elephants, including babies.
Cape buffalo
This reminded me of when the pioneers were settling the west in the United States, and American Buffalo roamed the prairies.
Leopard
It is hard to see the leopard in the video, but she is on the lower branch on the left of the tree. Supper, in the form of a dead antelope, is hanging from the lower branch on the right side of the tree. When I pan over to the other Land Rover in our group, you can get an idea how close we were to the leopard.

There are actually two leopards on the lower branches.
On the right side is an antelope that the leopard had dragged up the tree for lunch. Unless there is another one that we didn't see?
