Okay I hope this is allowed. The top picture isn't mine but it is in public domain.
Today we have something that is a little different. Here is a comparison picture of Prague.
The top picture is from a book printed in 1650. Czechia was called the "Kingdom of Bohemia" at the time. I'm not sure where the artist was sitting because Petrin wasn't there at the time but my picture is From Petrin Tower.
I think it is cool that you can see see some of the important structures that were in Old town back in 1650.
Any questions I'll answer to the best of my ability.
Now this is cool! Interesting comparison... the author of the first image might have just climbed up a tree on the top of the Petrin Hill :)
The infamous @phortun commenting and liking my post!!! (I think you are Thomas' IRL friend, I see he throws you upvotes)
I am actually interested in how he did it, I was thinking that maybe there was a tower there before Petrin was built? I have no clue, it just seems like the perspective was almost identical.
Haha not really (yet), I just help him with managing his blog a bit ;) But you are right, the perspective looks very similar. The Petrin Tower was built in 1891 and I have no clue what was there before... You just might have raised a serious historical question :D
Ah that makes sense. He is paying you well for managing it. If he needs anything else managed I have some free time lol.
I wonder if anyone knows if anything was there before hand. Could have been destroyed at some point. Had to have been if it there was something there.
Ill have to look into it tomorrow.
That is actually very cool! You get featured today:)
