Hello dear Steemit friends!

Right now its 04:44 am and I write you from my hostel bed. I really want to keep you updated as far as its possible for me. So lets start:
I welcome you to my pleasant journey to Bangkok! Yesterday on the 02.02.2018 I started to travel to Bangkok with my girlfriend and two friends from Munich. We flew with Etihad Airways and our route was:

Munich -> Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi -> Bangkok

the flights were pretty nice.

Lets give you an impression...

Right here we see the first drinks we got and a vegan snack: Water, white wine and the cracker snack

Our first meal chickpea salad, white bread with margarine and rice with a tofu curry

Second meal is pretty similar because we pre ordered our meals to be sure that they are vegan!

Thai Busses

All those photos were made with my iPhone 5s. Sorry for the lack of quality there!

It was only 60 THB (around 1,50€) with the bus from the airport to the famous Khaosan Road. It took us for about 1 hour so it was an amazing price.

After we arrived in our accommodation the "Niras Bankoc Hostel" we were able to check in earlier. At 10am instead of 2pm. That was really nice because we were able to shower, store our luggage and rest for a bit. Although we were pretty tired we decided to go for a walk. We wanted to see something of Bangkok especially Anouk & I since it is our first time in Asia.

We walked along beautiful rivers, saw many street cats and dogs, ate many fruits, had some smoothies and we headed to "Wat Arun". That was a beautiful temple on the other side of a big river in Bangkok. We used some public transport boats to get there! It was a lot of fun!

Afterwards we headed back close to our hostel with a Tuktuk.

After more than 30 hours awake we needed to sleep a few hours. Around 7 pm we met with a friend who was by accident as well in Bangkok and had some Chang beers. We walked together to Chinatown and had the best vegan Pad Thai ever!

Now back in the Hostel in the middle of the night... It was such an amazing start into this journey! The people in Thailand are so kind, friendly and willing to help everywhere! Lets see how our second day in Thailand will be... :)

We also ate mini bananas which were so delicious. Can't get enough of them!
