The reclaimed pink street is excellent. I love it when things are re-used for another purpose. Such interlinking demands, small bridges over nestled roads and narrow walkways.
The accretion of structures over demands of cars, with the cars losing at times, like the plaza picture with the street to the right. As if the buildings to the left said "No, you may not drive here" and it turned into a open space instead.
Such things warm my architectural urban-sprawl heart.
