Phu Thap Boek is the highest mountain peak in Phetchabun province, Thailand. (approx. 1,768 meters above sea level) The average temperature throughout the year is around 17-25 degrees Celsius.
It is one of the most popular and impressive tourist destinations among Thai people.
You can travel to Phu Thap Boek all year round, but during the winter (around the end of the year), the weather is cool and the sea of fog is the most beautiful.
Almost every morning after the rain, a spectacular sea of fog occurs all over the area in Phu Thap Boek.
The fog forms over the mountains like a fluffy carpet that leads to the rising sun.
(unfortunately, there is no view like that during this trip.)
Most of the original villagers at Phu Thap Boek are Hmong hill tribe people whose main occupation is cabbage farming.
Therefore, you will see a valley of cabbage fields that stretches as far as your eyes can see.
These create spectacular scenery.
Phu Thap Boek is worth a visit indeed.
One of the many places I wish to visit. !BBH
