RE: Dieng plateau - recommended site to visit in Java for nature lovers

in #travel4 years ago (edited)

WOW! Really beautiful site, especially for the nature lovers, including me!

The lake view and the view of the mountains are picturesque. The place looks calm and quiet.

The folklore is interesting and the moral of the story is great.

The blue sky and the white clouds in the 7th, 10th, 11th, and 12th pictures are really wonderful. The sky and the mountains with mist in the last three pictures are also my favorite.

The ancient Hindu temple is magnificent. And the mosque in the far distance looks beautiful among the greenery.

Um! At first, when I saw you on the horse, I thought you professionally drove the horse by yourself.... Good posture! ;D

I hope your husband, @jaki01, and your little princess can visit this place together with you soon.

Thanks so much for sharing. I would love to spend my leisure life there, for sure! ;)

I think the view of the praying houses among the greenery on the solitude landscape above the hill is always very majestic anyhow. No matter if it's a church, temple, or a mosque... the impression is the same.
They are all built higher than all other buildings to make people easily recognise them from a far.
You will see the similar view here in Eurepean highlands with their ancient churchs/chapels.

Yeah! I absolutely agree with you..... The churches, temples, or mosques on the hills are always very majestic and they always impress me very much. ;)
