Do you like crocodile? If so, this place is for you.
Samutprakarn Crocodile Farm and Zoo is the largest crocodile farm in Thailand and it’s a tourist attraction of Thailand. If you visit Thailand, you can go there easily, it’s not far away from Bangkok.
Here, you will see a lot of crocodiles, from babies to giant sizes.
There are shows between their staffs and crocodiles; i.e. the staff catch the crocodile by hands, the staff put his head in the crocodile’s opened mouth, etc.
You can see the shows closely and these are very exciting shows, for sure.
For me, I like to see the crocodile from the far distance. Ha ha! I accept that I’m afraid of them. Um! Imagine! What will happen, if we fall down to the pond and there are plenty of crocodiles surrounding us like these.
Apart from crocodiles, you will see other animals and their shows in this farm. But, there are only few of them….
I visited here long time ago, but no photos. I’m lucky getting these photos from my brother who visited here recently.
Hope you found this place interesting!
I agree, I think I would not mess about with the crocodile. I'll admit I'm chicken. And like to keep all my parts, ESPECIALLY my head...( :
They are fascinating animals, and so prehistoric. The one without the tail is really odd. Wonder if another one chomped it off? Thanks for sharing another interesting corner of you area. More to visit...I'm going to be busy if I ever do get there. Wow. Have a nice day.
Ha ha! I like to keep all my parts and my body with me, too..... ;D
I agree with you, they are fascinating animals, as you said. That one without the tail is really odd indeed. But, at first, I think, it's without tail since it was born. Ah! If another one chomped it off, that one would be much more fierce....
Many thanks for your nice comment, GFF! Yeah! Please visit Thailand, you'll be very busy, for sure....
Have a wonderful weekend. ;)
I'm pretty sure I have about 17 years of things to do in Thailand, if I get over that way. So much to do, so little time, not enough money either. But until I do, I get to travel by reading your blogs about it. That is not AS good, but still very fun indeed. Cheers.
Great idea and I'm happy to hear that you decided to get to travel by reading my blogs for now until you can visit Thailand someday. Enjoy!
p.s. Ha ha! 17 years may not be enough..... ;D
There's a crocodile farm in my hometown but I never got to visit the place. Although I'm scared of crocodiles and other reptiles, I think it would be interesting to go. Thank you for sharing these photos from your brother, @tangmo!
Many thanks for your nice comment. I'm scared of crocodiles, too, but if we see them in far distance, I think, it's okay and very exciting as well.... ;D
Wow that's a very scary place indeed with so many crocodiles running around haha. I have to say the trainers are super brave though.
Yes, I think the same as you, it's a very scary place.... But, it's amazing and exciting to see them running around, right? Ha ha! And the trainers are super brave, I absolutely agree! ;D
Many thanks for your comment. ;)

OMG! I have never seen so many crocodiles in one place like the ones pictured here. Have the staff lost their minds? LOL! My place is with the other animals. That Cassowary sure is interesting. : )
Ha ha ha! The staffs may not lost their minds, but it's their job....and they are very brave to do so.... ;D
It's great that you have the other animals in your place. In the meantime, they do not live naturally in my place. That's why they show us at this zoo.... This is the first time that I saw Cassowary, very beautiful. ;)
I am with you on watching the crocodiles from a far. I takes a lot of convincing to touch them lol!

Excellent this place dear friend / @ tangmo, how many crocodiles is home to this place, apparently they are so many that they get hurt by them, by the crocodile of the cut tail.
Congratulations for the beautiful catches.
I wish you a great day
Thanks so much for your nice comment. I'm glad you found the place interesting. Um! I'm not sure how many crocodiles are there in this place..... And I'm not sure whether the big one that have no tail is because it got hurt by others or it has no tail since it was born....
