Introduction

Hey Steemians!
Hopefully you can remember the first two parts of my "Let me take you to Paris". It has been almost a month since I published the second part - sorry for that. But today we finally are gonna come back and see the third part.

After taking you Steemians out of Paris to the famous palace Versailles in the last part, we now will return back to the capital of France.

Like in the previous episodes, this post will be bilingual. The normal text will be kept in English above the pictures, beneath the pictures the German version will be writte down in italics.

Ich hoffe, ihr könnt euch noch an die ersten zwei Teile meiner "Let me take you to Paris" Serie erinnern. Es ist schon eine Weile her, seitdem ich den letzten Beitrag veröffentlicht habe - tud mir leid. Aber heute geht es endlich weiter und der dritte Teil wird veröffentlicht.

Nachdem ich euch im letzten Teil raus aus der Stadt und mit ins Schloss Versailles genommen habe, kehren wir nun in die Hauptstadt Frankreichs zurück.

Wie die vorigen Posts ist auch dieser hier zweisprachg gestaltet. Die englische Version ist vor den Bildern in normaler Schirft dargestellt, die deutsche Fassung findet ihr in kursiver Schrift unter den Bildern.

Notre-Dame de Paris at night

After we came back to Paris we decided to enjoy the evening in an area we had been before - at the cathedral Notre-Dame de Paris.

Remember the pictures of this masterpiece of architecture from the first part? Well, it looks even more awesome when it is dark.

Nachdem wir wieder in Paris angekommen waren, beschlossen wir, den Abend in einer bekannten Gegend ausklingen zu lassen - rund um die Kathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris.

Könnt ihr euch an die Fotos dieses architektonischen Wunders aus dem ersten Teil erinnern? Was soll ich sagen - bei Dunkelheit, sieht das ganze sogar noch besser aus.

A fire-artist was just throwing around some flames in front of the building. It looked amazing. I know that my iPhone camera can't capture this nearly as great as it was. But of course I will still share this picture ;)

Ein Feuerkünstler war gerade dabei, vor der Kathedrale Flammen durch die Luft zu schleudern. Es war großartig. Ich weiß, dass meine iPhone-Bilder die Stimmung nicht ansatzweise so gut rüberbringen können. Ich teile es aber natürlich trotzdem ;)

On the other side of the place, a gate was lighted out in the colours of the french flag. This will be the last picture of this day.

Auf der anderen Seite des Platzes war ein Tor in den Farben der französischen Flagge ausgeleuchtet. Dies ist das letzte Bild dieses Tages

Breakfast at Coquelicot bakery

On the next day we went to the Montmartre -a hill in the north which marks the highest natural elevation in Paris. Before we discovered this famous stronghold of artists and literature, we had an amazing breakfast at a bakery called "Coquelicot". I can really recommend it for its awesome foods - and its only a few metres away from the metro line.

Am nächsten Tag sind wir in den Norden Parises auf den Montmarte, eine Hochburg der Kunst und Literatur, gegangen. Bevor wir den mit 130 Meter höchsten natürlichen Punktes Parises erkundeten, haben wir uns in der Bäckerei "Coquelicot" ein herrliches Frühstück gegönnt. Bonuspunkt für dieses Lokal: Die Metro ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt.

Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre

After the awesome breakfast we visited the basilica Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre - a huge church on top of the hill.

Nachdem wir also gut gefrühstückt hatten, besuchten wir die Basilika Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre - eine riesige Kirche auf dem Gipfel des Hügels.

While the church is also really beautiful on the inside, a walk on top of the building is an even better experience.

Die Kirche ist zwar innen auch sehr schön, spektakulärer ist jedoch der Aufstieg auf den Turm.

Students be aware, this is one of the few buildings where you have to pay entree fees as a student as well. But the view from top of the building was totally worth it. In the distance, you even can see one of our next destinations.

Studenten aufgepasst, dies ist einer der wenigen Momente wo ihr auch als Studenten Eintrittsgebühren bezahlen müsst. Aber es lohnt sich, der Ausblick vom Kirchturm ist richtig spektakulär. In der Ferne könnt ihr sogar eines unser nächsten Destinationen sehen.

Like I said, there are many artists on the hill. Unfortunately, most of them didn't allow me to take pictures due to copyright reasons I suppose.

Wie gesagt, findet man auf dem Hügel sehr viele Künstler. Die meisten wollten aber - wohl aus Copyrightgründen - nicht bei der Arbeit fotografiert werden.

La Maison Du Bitcoin

Since I had read about a Bitcoin-Store in Paris, we wanted to visit the so called "La Maison Du Bitcoin". Unfortunately there was just a presentation ongoing, so I couldn't use their BTC-ATM.

Da ich im Internet von einem Bitcoin Geschäft gelesen hatte, wollten wir die sogenannte "La Maison Du Bitcoin" besuchen. Da im Inneren jedoch gerade ein Vortrag gehalten wurde, konnte ich leider deren BTC-ATM nicht benutzen.

On the way to the store we saw this beautiful building.

Am Weg dorthin kam uns außerdem dieses schöne Gebäude unter.

La Tour Eiffel

The last monument we visited which I will post about is probably the most famous one - the "La Tour Eiffel" - the Eiffel Tower.

Die letzte Sehenswürdigkeit über die ich berichten will, ist gleichzeitig auch die berühmteste - der "La Tour Eiffel" - der Eiffelturm.

This 324m high tower is made out of iron and was made between 1887 and 1889 for the celebrations of the french revolutions' 100th birthday. Nowadays it is a worldwide symbol for love and peace - many people are dating in front of the tower and enjoying some food & wine with their loved ones. Just like this young couple.

Dieser 324 Meter hohe Eisenfachwerkturm wurde zwischen 1887 und 1889 anlässlich des 100. Geburtstags der französischen Revolution gebaut und gilt heutzutage weltweit als Zeichen der Lieben und des Friedens. Vor dem Turm genießen viele Leute Essen & Wein mit ihren Liebsten. So auch dieses junge Pärchen.

A visit at the Lego-Store

Before we had to leave for the airport at the next day, we git to visit a shopping mall in the centre of Paris. While my girlfried was trying some clothes, I discovered this treasure.

Bevor wir am nächsten Tag Richtung Flughafen aufbrechen mussten, haben wir noch ein Einkaufszentrum in Paris besucht. Während meine Freundin Gewand shoppen war, habe ich diesen Schatz entdeckt.

Of course they had built some models of famous Paris buildings in this LEGO store. If you have read my posts, you should already know what this is ;)

Natürlich konnte man in diesem LEGO Geschäft einige Modelle von Pariser Sehenswürdigkeiten finden. Wenn ihr meine Posts aufmerksam gelesen habt, wisst ihr sicher was das ist ;)

If you want to build something for yourself, you can for example buy this LEGO interpretation of the "Disney Castle". The set contains 4080 pieces which will keep you busy for many hours.

Wenn ihr selbe etwas zusammenbauen wollt, könnt ihr dies zum Beispiel mit der LEGO Interpretation des "Disneyschloss". Das Set beinhaltete 4080 Teile und beschäftigt euch sicher einige Stunden.

If you want to go even bigger, the "Millennium Falcon™" from the "STAR WARS"-series is the right thing for you. 7541 pieces guarantee long lasting fun and a unique experience. However this also has its prize - with around 800€ it is the most expensive set ever in regular sale. And with a length of 84cm and a width 56cmthsi monster needs a lot of space.

Wenn ihr es noch größer wollt, ist der "Millennium Falcon™" aus der "STAR WARS"-Reihe genau das richtige für euch. 7541 Teile sorgen garantiert für langen Bastelspaß. Das ganze hat allerdings auch seinen Preis - mit saftigen 800€ ist das Set das teuerste welches jemals im regulären Handel erhältlich war. Und mit einer Länge von 84cm und einer Breite von 56cm braucht das Monster auch ganz schön viel Platz.

Final words

I really hope you guys have enjoyed this series about my visit to Paris. I tried not to only post pictures but also give some information, tips and fun stories to you. Thank you guys for reading up to here!
