Hey Hivers!
What a whirlwind the past 24 hours have been! After a long and winding journey from Germany, traversing the English Channel, making our way across Holyhead in North Wales, and finally taking the ferry to Dublin, we have landed in the stunning County Clare, just in time for the Galway Folk Festival.
We decided to reward ourselves with a well-deserved "day off" and rented a cozy little Air BNB a few kilometers away from the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher in the charming village of Doolin. The scenery here is nothing short of magical, with the rugged Atlantic coastline offering views that truly live up to—and even surpass—the imagination.
This afternoon, we wandered along the coastline, soaking in the majestic beauty of the waves crashing against the cliffs and the dramatic skies overhead. The sheer power and beauty of this place inspired us deeply, and we knew instantly that we had to capture it on film.
We've been planning a special video for our upcoming release, "Storm Searching," and the atmospheric backdrop of Doolin, especially with the rain clouds rolling in, was the perfect setting for some of the scenes we envisioned. With the Atlantic winds in our hair and the sound of the ocean in our ears, we filmed some truly evocative footage that we can't wait to share with you.
Stopped for what is called the "best coffee in Ireland" at the Moher Cottage, a lovely little spot along the Wild Atlantic way... The staff was lovely and the little shop was filled with treasures.
Until next time, keep the music alive and the wanderlust strong here on the Isle of Eire.
With love and melodies from Ireland,
TTN
We were over in west Ireland some years ago and had a good time, including seeing some dolphins. Didn't make it to Moher, so that will be another trip.
Did you go to Craggy Island?
