☠️ Safety Checks ☠️
Now if your like me and pay a quality service center like Yamaha World to service your bike every 10, 000 kms then you know that they will go over the bike and do a bunch of safety checks.
They do this to ensure that your bike is in a road worthy condition.
But what about in between those 10, 000 km services. Do you do any checks to ensure things on the bike are working correctly?
It's amazing that some people don't do any safety checks.
Usually every weekend when I give my bike a clean I like to do a few checks, some times I might do it each fortnight if I'm really busy of haven't ridden the bike much that fortnight.
I like to just check and make sure things look good and work correctly.

First thing I do is check to make sure that my front and back indicators are working correctly along with my rear brake light. This is a critical check for me as it's important to inform other drivers if you are turning or braking.
Then I check my fluid level on the brake reservoirs, the oil level and coolant level. These are spot on for me as I have always owned fairly new bikes. But I like to check just in case.
Then I check the tyre pressures, I don't have any fancy gauges to do this so I just do the old firmness test with my thumb to make sure they feel right.
Then I check my chain for any signs of wear and free play to make sure it's ok. I also lube up the chain.
Also I just make sure the brakes feel ok.
That's about it, takes me maybe 10 mins but I think it's time well spent to ensure I'm kept a little bit safer.
At least once per fortnight or every 1000 kms it good enough for me.
As you know I have my reasons for being so safety conscious, but I encourage all riders to be mindful of safety. It really doesn't take much for things to turn out really badly.

appreciated bro :)
Thanks for the tips. I must tell this to my brother which is a lot on his bike and don't do a lot of "safety checks". Last year when i told him to check a little for brake oil and so on he just laughed at me and he said that i just complicate too much, but i don't want to lose him.. Thanks again and nice post! Keep it going :)
can you tell me, how can i make dollar like you ??
