Dear Steemit community!
I am lucky enough to be heading for another work contract to the beautifully remote world of Antarctica in a few weeks and the company I work for has just issued me my flights. It appears I have 2 nights (one whole extra day) to spend in Buenos Aires on the way back from Antarctica to Australia in mid-March.
Since, I have never explored this place before I have searched around of what to do in BA and the checked out the "top things you must do" when you visit this incredible city. However, I am wondering if anyone from there or knows the place well - IF there is something off the beaten track - that is not heavily advertised to visit/experience.
I will be staying in and around Monserrat & won't have a car to do any driving, unfortunately... Also, my Spanish is pretty bad... actually to be honest really bad...
Restaurants?
Parks?
Attractions?
Anything & Everything would be hugely appreciated & Any local knowledge would be incredibly welcomed!!!

If you aren't tired of the water (considering you cruise half your life), the Reserva Ecológica Costanera Sur is just at your doorstep. Cover yourself with mosquito repellent though, March is a good time for them.
You could also try the trains, they are the cheapest mode of transport and they bring you quite far. The north line goes up to Campana, the south line goes to La Plata, capital of the province, and various others that run towards the west. On trains language is not a huge problem, station names and route are fixed and mapped nicely, you can't really get lost if you use stations as landmarks.
thanks for the advice!! I will be definitely looking into trains whilst im there
Here are some places that I recommend
