Very cool post @rea! I note the need for more documentation- I wonder if you can find more online. That is often my favorite part of any trip- the research afterwards to answer all those questions; for me at least much of the wonder of archaeology is learning from the silence.
The clay pots (Amphorae?) always fill me with this eerie fascination with their perfect symmetry yet with the sense of the potters hand still remaining after all those thousands of years...
