This photo begins our time in Chattanooga because it’s such an adventure, so much to explore, can’t wait to share it with you ... !!!
I think I’ll start with
Ruby falls
What an absolutely stunning view your faced with when you get dropped off by an Uber !!! Public transport in Chattanooga is ok but from our air b n b we had to walk a massive high way to get to a bus stop!! ( never told my mum that one !!)
How stunning - we had a really hot day up there !! We zip wired across 2 400 metre zips - the view was incredible- was fun .. but if you’ve done go ape in the uk it’s not difficult at all and rather short but the views probably are the reason for the price ! Do a combo with the falls tho - cheaper !!
The welcome to the falls went something like this .. 
Go grab your tickets and get down to the caves !!
You have to have a tour guide so you get a meeting point and time , a glass lift showing all the cave wall and don’t forget closed toe shoes !!
From the beginning of the cave it’s surreal so much to look at and learn !
I don’t want to give the surprise away really but you’ll see it on all the leaflets etc so your walking to the middle to find the waterfall Ruby Falls stunning - you only have 8 minutes per tour group to look at the falls , the lights are timed but ... A Fall in a cave!!! Honestly !!

They say .. when you at the falls your as deep as the Empire State is high!! But obviously your walking into a cave but the top is higher than where you’ve gone it !!! But it sounds impressive doesn’t it !!!!
So many stories and different formations you get told and shown in this cave !! I won’t show you anymore ! Just go !!! Worth every penny ! Loved it !! :)
Onto the next bit up there !!
It’s called Rock city !!
And to be honest it’s abit weird haha !!! Alittle bit expensive to get it but the viewssssss are something else

Wait for it !
You get to see seven states standing in one place !!! How bloody cool !!

The actual place is gardens and you just follow a map round all the different rock formations and a fairy story ! but I’ll show you a few views to get you inspired :)

You sit in a train and go up the side of the mountain !!!!!

There isn't a set time to go back down and the park is really lovely to sit in and explore as you can see above - I scared my friend climbing on the tallest rock !!!! Also there is some museums that are worth a look too !!
Just outstanding views of all Chattanooga!!
The town is pretty cool we spent an afternoon just chilling in a park the other side of the river with a water feature thing the kids were loving as it was a hot day we went for a little cool down too !!

Chattanooga Choo Choo
It’s a hotel now but was a train station !! And all the trains are still out the back in the courtyard - like a museum and it’s free you just walk through to the back :) check it out for sure just to get another tick !!!

P.s. We call them thongs here in Australia and I'm not sure flip flop is the right terminology but took a stab at it.
Haha of course I did !! And yes it’s flip flops haha my sister lives in Australia and she now calls them thongs too !! I will go back to Australia blogs but got a few more places to tell you about first !!! I did 3 months travelling in Oz in 2013 I believe !
Haha, well I thought I had to clarify because in the states thongs means something completely different! 😉
Australia is pretty cool, glad you got to spend an extended time here. I've lived here all my life and haven't got close to seeing it all. Still, I bet you saw a fair piece of it huh?
I was in perth 4 weeks and I’ve been again for a month but then the 3 months I did 4 weeks in Perth and 2 months travelling down the east coast From cairns to Adelaide:)
Decent trip that East coast run you did. I've done it many times. I was born in Adelaide and live here still, and have family in Cairns too. I lived there for a while also. WA is nice also, so much to see everywhere really I guess. Seems like you're a seasoned Aussie traveller.
My sister lives in Perth so I try and make trips to see her :)
