This is me and the class of students I taught (They’re all my school mates and the Guy in the middle is one of the teacher instructors).
We split the Yoga Asana Teaching and the warm up into two days. My partner did the warm ups today and I did the Asanas. Tomorrow I do the warm up. The funny thing is I thought I was doing the warm up today! So I was less than prepared to teach Asanas. I made it through though. I guess I did learn something in class this month because I was able to properly teach the class without reviewing beforehand today.
I don’t know If I’ll ever teach yoga outside of this school, but I’ll have the certificate in my pocket in case I do. There are better schools in town than this one (wish I’d would have known that before, hindsight 20/20) but it’s been good enough to get a thumbs up and I met and learned with a great group of people. The teacher in the pic is the best teacher at the school so I’m really glad he was the one to observe and critique my class.

That’s one of the reasons I decided to do the teacher training. I didn’t practice yoga before entering the program.

Which school did you go to? My best friend did the 200 hour course a few years ago in Rishikesh and I went to visit her. Seems like it is very worthwhile!
