RE: SHARK TALES From South Africa - Adventure and Danger

in #travel7 years ago

my shark story is a bit different from the above. I remember it was in the time I live in the Fiji Island in the South Pacific. Me and my Dad ( I was 26 that time ) went to a beach which was nobody. Water was a bit rough and we decide to jump in it, because we like rough water Beaches.

After some minutes we are enjoying the waves and the water, something hit us, not direkt, but something big and after that it went away. But we could not see it. ( this time we dint know what it was or can be) So after it hit me, and than my father, we both told each other that something is in the water. But as I said, we can not see it, because the water was not that much Clear.

We desice to go out instantly of the water, better now as something happened to one of us. This day I never forget. Still we dint know what it was, just could imagine...

Some days later, we read in the newspaper that at this beach was a shark attack to a surfer guy. So we both was very shocked when we read that. I am shure now, it was an Shark! They mostly look first before they attack, so that was the punch and touching in the moment in the water...

I am so happy, that nothing was happened that day to us, otherwise I will be not here, where I am now...

Thanks for the story @mericanhomestead, I give my view words to your post. Greetings , Timo
