Today I had the pleasure of exploring Center City Philadelphia with one of my awesome TCNJ Circus Club friends Mylin. Mylin is a musician, juggler, linguists, comedian and all around great guy.

On this day, we decided to adventure to Rittenhouse Square. Immediately before I entered the park, I and the rest of the passers by were bombarded with judgement, hateful words and belittled by local massaginists, Christian extremists and white nationalists. This, unfortunately, has become a staple in major American cities. Thankfully, the public had a much larger and opposing response. So much so that security was eventually summoned to keep the peace.

Massive crowds had gathered today for a Fine Crafts show. The boundaries of the park were covered in tents housing various craftsmen and vendors.

Eventually I made it into the park and found Mylin! We played around in the park for almost 2 straight hours. We had lessons, met a new friend and even held small classes with each other. But my favorite moment of the day was learning how to pass juggle. For the last few months, I have been practicing my juggling. Today was the first time I’ve ever successfully pass juggles with someone! Hence my excitement. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
