Wanderlust: SAGADA MOUNTAIN PROVINCE ⛺ Day 2 [BOMOD-OK FALLS]

in #travel7 years ago (edited)

As our Day 2 begins, we had our hot breakfast in our lodge and prepare for our next adventure. Today we will be going to hike going to Sagada's majestic BOMOD-OK FALLS. As we started our morning with a fulfilling breakfast, we start to prepare and bundle up in our comfortable clothes and left our accommodation early. Our tour guide said we will trek for about one hour descending going to the falls.

Ahh... the smell of fresh air!

the path is steep, rigid and sometimes there are spring waters everywhere so there are some puddles of water on the way that is why we have some sticks to give us more traction to the ground.

resting while having fun

BOMOD-OK FALLS is said to be the most visited attraction in Sagada. There will be a guide while you trek going to the falls and all the way back. The location would be in the northern part of Sagada between the village of Aguid, Pide, and Fidelisan. Bomod-Ok means BIG so technically it means The BIG FALLS cool. I felt very accomplished when we finally reach the falls! It was marvelous. When we got there we took pictures before trying to dip into the water. The water in the falls was very cold. I just dip for 5 minutes, haha but it was a great experience.

We passed on villages on our way to the jeepney terminal going to our van. I am very proud of those people living in the mountains and hard to reach places. The environment is very abundant and healthy. I just hope they are getting the medical attention they need because I saw their health center and it was empty. I am glad they are looking well, the people are friendly and they have a system in their area.
