Hello Steemians,
welcome to the ninth part of our trip on the island of Sardinia.
After 4 nights in Arbatax we drove south. We had booked an overnight stay at the hotel Cruccuris Resort in Villasimius and finally 3 overnight stays west of Cagliari (not shown on the map).
The first stop was at the beach Spiaggia di Porto Corallo south of Porto Corallo.
Afterwards we drove on to the Costa Rei. In the far north of the Costa Rei is the beautiful beach Spiaggia con pineta.
Although it is located directly at a campsite, we were almost alone there.
In the early afternoon we reached our hotel Cruccuris Resort, which is a little outside of Villasimius.
From our hotel room we had a view of the sea and the hotel's swimming pool.
Block of hotel rooms facing west on a few hills that block the view of the sunset over the sea.
The swimming pool at night.
Sunrise.
After breakfast we checked out of the hotel and explored the beaches around Cape Carbonara. Below in the picture you can see the beach Spiaggia di Capo Carbonara and the abandoned building Cava Usai.
South of the Capo Carbonara is the island Isola dei Cavoli with its distinctive lighthouse.
Afterwards we drove west to our accommodation near Cagliari. Afterwards we drove west to our accommodation near Cagliari. At first we passed the Spiaggia di Campus beach.
Later on, the coastal road becomes a little more curvaceous.
A view of the beach Spiaggia di Solanas.
We didn't go directly to Cagliari, but made a detour to the north to see a well known excavation site. More about this next week. Be curious.
Thank you for reading!
Here are the links to the other parts of our Sardinia round trip.
Thanks for sharing your Impressions @twinner. Nice to see new places and bays. Looks like its worth a trip :) Have a nice journey and may the force be with you !

LG an alle!! Liz
Vielen Dank Liz, Stammtisch war gestern, war ganz gut :-)
That is some photography skills !
Thank you very much, ST3000.

Thank you very much @holm.
Here in London I have shared a house with a girl from Sardinia and she said it is a very beautiful place but when it comes to living conditions it is really difficult to make a living there. But I guess it is a good holidays destiny :D The pictures are beautiful looks like an amazing island :D
Hi sergio, I can imagine that to make a living in sardinia is not easy. Besides tourism there was not so much industrie there.
Yeah what she said is that there are literally nothing there. It is very quiet and not a lot of things to do. There are no job offers because all the jobs available are taken and that's it. Nothing ever grows or jobs are created. So People have nothing to work on.
Your photos really reflect the beauty and charm of this irresistibly charming part of Sardinia. The curving of the coastline with its white sandy beaches and rugged landscape at some points - easily candy to the eyes.
Natural beauty and peace for the soul. I almost forgot how wonderful it is there.
Sehr gute Zusammenfassung. Ich wünsche Dir einen wundervollen Tag.
Vielen Dank @dswigle

Island of Sardinia, in the mediteranean see between Europa and Africa.
