Wait what? You never been to Spain!?! You got to be kiding me! All right, let's have a tour and start with Barcelona.
New York and Barcelona have in lot in commun. Both never sleeps at night and they re the center of culture and arts of their respectives country.
The first thing I did when I went to Barca, was to visit the Sagrada Familia. The unfinished church of the architect Antoni Gaudi. A work of art combining Art nouveau and gothic architecture styles.
The project started in 1882 adn should be finished by 2026. Sagrada Familia's construction progressed slowly, as it relied on private donations and was interrupted by the Spanish Civil War, only to resume intermittent progress in the 1950s.
Gaudi left his mark on this city (later we ll see the Park Guell) , it is quite sad that he would never see his church fully build.
