Today we moved into a hotel suite near Sydney Town Hall, as soon as we put our bags down we set back out to find food, afterward making our way to Hyde Park.
^ The Archibald Fountain
Across the road we spotted St. Mary's Cathedral and decided to check it out.
The inside was rather atmospheric as cathedrals usually are.
^Unfortunately my phone wouldn't quite focus.
We're not religious, but the architecture of cathedrals is always appealing, and I can't help but feel like Robert Langdon from the movie Angels and Demons, looking for clues in symbols and trying to solve a larger puzzle. When we were finished exploring we headed back to the hotel to relax and a little while later were heading out again to see The Book of Mormon at the Lyric Theatre. My girlfriend is the thespian and was incredibly excited to see the musical, I had no idea what it would be like, but when she told me it was written by the creators of South Park, I became a lot more interested. It proved to be one of the best shows I've ever seen, it was absolutely hilarious and upon leaving the theatre afterward I immediately wanted to see it again.
