Mumbai has always been a millennial's love, who has got to visit it. It has its own charm, its own aura and its own highly-spirited folks. 'Mayanagri', as it is fondly called, actually has a 'maya' (magic) in it. Its vibes are so vibrant that you can be filled with freshness instantly. The hustle and bustle of the city will make you pull up your socks and start on the journey, ASAP. Phew! Such is the supernatural experience of visiting the always bubbly city of Mumbai.
It taught me to move ahead in life, to forgive.
Mumbai is a city that barely holds any grudges and believes in making the most of each day, to work hard with sincerity and humanity.
It has infused life into an otherwise laid-back mode of living.
With its ever-throbbing culture of 'work hard and party even harder', the city of Mumbai has made me pluck courage to get out of the rut and the rat-race. A sense of strength and self-confidence is a souvenir from this magical city.
Mumbai has convinced me to 'Dream Big' and 'Achieve Big'.
It has re-instilled in me that aiming low is a crime, when the world is your oyster. The grand skyscrapers in Lower Parel are an inspiration to all the dreamers. Their magnanimity infuses deep thoughts in us to also plan huge, if not big. To not be afraid of failures when there are chances to win.
Having a cosmopolitan population, the city inspires us to dwell comfortably in diversity.
It wants us to be acceptable and adaptive. The highly conducive population is always there to help you and soon you will find revelling with people from all walks of life, something you would not have thought of.
In the heavy noise around you, you need to listen to your inner self, too.
You need to introspect and spend some quality moments with yourself. In the love of everything and extreme business, one must not let go or rather forget of the charm of oneself, to enjoy one's own company. For this, there is no better a place than Marine Drive, where the Arabian Sea and cool breeze are your company. #SelfLove
To explore and to be a self-learner.
When you explore, you learn and you never forget. That becomes a lifetime memory and the lessons learnt in the process are priceless. The grandeur and the vastness of this charming land actually encourage exploration, both inside and outside.
To be a star in one's eyes and also work to achieve that status.
Mumbai has the valour to infuse in us the urge and passion to do something for which the world recognises us. It wants us to be a star, to shatter all the inhibitions and dodge all the societal stereotypes and dogmas.
Mumbai is a city that wants me to dream, to achieve them, to have my feet attached to the ground, while I fly high. It is a 'way of life' that each one of us must live atleast once.
