Views from the Passenger Side : Part Two

Part 2, of what could very well be a multi-part series of photos.
This was taken as we were on our way to a wedding in Pemberton, BC. I was told, by our trusty GPS, that this was Duffey Lake Provincial Park.

I begged and pleaded with my husband to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STOP so we can "stretch our legs" and maybe snap a photo or 2. He was having none of it. We were almost at our destination and the trip had left him restless as most of the drive was on a narrow road alongside a cliff. He's afraid of heights and was not enjoying the trek at all.
I thought coming upon this beautiful sight would surely change his mood. But it didn't. The above photo was all I could get on the way to the wedding. We spent the rest of the ride mostly silent with each other, but still singing along to my epic playlist.

The wedding passed, and I didn't bother pressing him about making a stop here.
But to my surprise, we did stop. We sat on the hood of the car and snacked on munchies we packed for the trip.
Before we left, he wrangled up a tourist and got them to snap this photo of us.
