We always use a match, but we never have the opportunity to see the tree, where the sticks come from.
A match is a small wooden stick with a solidified mixture of flammable chemicals applied at one end. When this end touches a rough surface, the friction will generate enough heat to ignite the chemicals and create a small flame. Some matches, such as matches, that can be found anywhere, can be drawn if they fall on an uneven surface. Other matches, known as safety matches, only explode when certain chemicals penetrate a particularly rough surface.
