One of the many things I love about Seoul is all of the street art. Go to any popular spot, and you are sure to find creative paintings done by local artists.
If you're a fan of street art, check out the Steemit Streetart Challenge. You can vote for your favorite street art submission or submit your own!

These are some of the snaps I've taken while on walks around the city. Enjoy~
As I'm sure you've noticed from the pictures, most of the street art is very light-hearted and cute. When I think street art, I think controversy, oppression, and the fight for freedom of speech. While you can find political street art in Seoul, it's not that common. Here, street art serves to amplify the beauty of the streets. And of course, they're great spots for taking photos.
What's your take on street art? Should it be limited to art with a message and purpose behind it? Or do you enjoy light-hearted art that's simply nice to look at? I'd love to know your thoughts! I personally would rather have art with a story behind it. Something that evokes emotion. But I'm not against art that's just nice to look at either.
