Hey there my Steemit friends. Lima Peru in general definitely did not remind me of Ft Lauderdal Florida where I've spent a lot of time in my home country of the USA; however the Mira Flores district certainly did! When I first got dropped off by the bus in the heart of this district, I couldn't help but feel like I was back in Florida.
The streets were clean, the buildings were in good conditions, things were organized and well run. It was a little strange. The photos from this series of Mira Flores will have a sharp contrast to those of Down Town Lima, that is for sure. I spent a lot of time walking all over the city and here are more photos from the Mira Flores area! Enjoy!

Yep. I definitely like the look of Mira Flores @world-travel-pro. Are there many expats retired there? I know you said you thought it was a good place to do so but was wondering whether or not it has been "discovered" yet. 😊

Sam remembers these parts of Lima through your photos. The tennis courts in the middle garden area heading towards the cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Then walking down to the ocean to dip his toes in and claim that he has been 'in' the Pacific Ocean. LOL
Almost, but not quite! Still many countries on our list to tackle. In time...
It's a small world so expect anything, a meet-up is quite possible 😊
