Hey there my Steemit Friends! In this Travel Pro Series we focus on significant monuments, structures, buildings, and general architecture of a given area. Everywhere in the world is different from the way people look and speak, to the food they eat, to customs, traditions, all the way down to the buildings they live in. My favorite thing to do is simply walk around and take in the environment of each place I visit. So this series gives you an idea of what that may be like and how influential these structures really are.
All that really needs to be said is; come to Prague if you want to see one architectural masterpiece after another. This city is by far the most beautiful and impressive place I have ever been in my twelve plus years of travel. This city is truly fit for a king, and quite frankly it is. Across the river on a hill is Prague Castle, built around 800 AD. It is one of the biggest and most impressive castles in all of Europe and it offered the king of the day the most stunning views of this immaculate city.
In fact a during my time there a local told me that Prague being part of the Soviet Union and allied forces during WWII; Hitler refused to bomb the city, stating that it was simply too beautiful to destroy! In modern days the beauty and overwhelmingly handsome architecture has made Prague one of the most touristed cities in all of Europe, especially during the summer months when I recently visited.
Another thing that I found incredible was that the amazing architecture was not just a few blocks in the city center. The entire city itself was just one impressive building after another. Even far off from the tourist area, the streets were amazing, the buildings were historic, gorgeous, and often with statues of royal mid-evil design looking down upon you. Just walking around was a real treat! Now come along for this extensive travel pro series and lets have a look around!
I enjoy art, architecture, museums, churches, and temples; anything that gives me insight into the history and soul of the place I'm in.
Here's a question of mine hope you give time to answer!
I would love to see you taking photographs of our localities such as this churches and other architectural structures such as museum and post it here in #Steemit

Want to have your post on the map too?
Love the architecture and the colors on some of the buildings. Not as many cars on the streets as I would expect...
