Iztuzu Beach, one of the longest beaches in the world with great sand...
Hello,
Today I want to give you information about Iztuzu Beach, which is the pupil of Muğla. This charming beach is a public beach visited by millions of tourists every year. It also has the title of being one of the longest beaches in the world. There are many different ways to get to this beach. But the most preferred by tourists is to reach via the lake fed by the sea by tour boats. Daily tour boats visit Iztuzu beach and a few other popular places every summer season(I think this is the best option). Another is to provide transportation by taxi boats departing from Dalyan pier in one direction at certain hours. By using Taxi boats, you get a two-way ticket and at any time you want, you can return to Dalyan, that is, to the place where you first started the journey, using a different boat than the boat you went to. Another option is to take buses or a private car with a charming view of Iztuzu from the mountain road. The areas that go by car and go by boat are a little away from each other, but if you still want to walk on the beach, you can go to the area where the boats are located by car.
Iztuzu Beach has cafes that are completely at peace with nature. These cafes generate electricity entirely from solar energy. In these cafes you can find delicious food and drinks. In addition, pomegranate juice, which is unique to Turkey and is very popular, can be obtained and experienced from these cafes.
If you do not want to grapple with the waves of the Iztuzu Sea only after certain hours, you can also choose the lake located on the other side of the coast. But there's one thing you should pay attention to, Carettas. If caretta turtles perceive you as a threat, you are likely to be attacked a little. But don't worry, they don't pose a serious threat.
If you are traveling by day tour boats, I strongly recommend that you try eating blue crab. Who can say no to an extra-fresh seafood cooked on a barbecue? You may have eaten crab in restaurants before, but I'm sure you didn't eat blue crab on the grill. Because this food is unique here. It has a unique taste and flavour unlike any food you've eaten before. If you like to drink beer, blue crab with beer will peak your taste buds.
Besides all this, Iztuzu Beach has another really important role. Iztuzu Beach is used as an spawning ground for Caretta Turtles, an endangered and rare animal. So you can see small cages in some areas of the beach. This is a small but effective measure taken to prevent people from unwittingly breaking eggs.
Cages used to protect Caretta turtles.
