Surrounded by ricefields In Siquijor #philippines

Going out in the morning to the ricefields on Siquijor. The sun shines its rays gently on the greenish colored fields which gives it the soft and peaceful appearance. Welcome by the ricefields of Siquijor, Philippines

A few days before, I met Yva again! She was my classmate back in the Netherlands and it has been more than a year that we last met each other! We both have been travelling around. She is away from home for a few months. For me it is over an year now and I was so happy to see her again, here in the Philippines and now we are travelling together!

A shot I made of Yv, I really love this picture!

This day, we went around with the motorbike and stopped for this stunning view to take a quick picture. That was the plan at least but we ended up hanging around there for quite a while!

DSC_2478.JPG No, my leg is not dirty. I just fell down a rock a few days before during our trip to the waterfall, don't try that at home!

While walking beside the fields, I saw this little house and it made my mind wandering. How would it be to live on such a beautiful place? I guess I would never be bored of this view in my entire life! Maybe it is even better than a bounty beach!

The owners of this little house at the side of the rice field can not complain about the location

Since we did not plan to stay so long, I did not turn the motorbike lights of and when we want to leave the battery was empty and the bikr did not start! Luckily, Yva knew were the quick start is located on the bike! I felt a little bit stupid I did not turn of the light since the peacefulness of the rice fields pulled me like a magnet does. How could I leave here after a minute already!

Just being with the nature, walking trough the morning stage while breathing the fresh air.

Totally refreshed, we continued our drive. We left the fields with the peacefulness still in our minds.

I'm really glad you loved the sceneries in our country, it gives me a glimpse of pride as a Filipino.
It is relaxing to see the view of a ricefield.
Travel more and enjoy more.

You can definitely be proud on your country! So many beautiful spots! I still don't wanna leave after 8 months being here!

I grew up in the province where there are rice fields. we used to play there when we were still kids and we would sometimes go home with mud on our body because we fell while playing! haha. it was a fun and memorable experience! I suddenly missed it.

You look gorgeous there! I loooove seeing those green fields again. ❤

I also miss my childhood on the farm.. Good old time... It is nice to play out side! It is sad to see that kids spent more and more time inside, if they can grow up like we did!

Wow that is a pretty good view! I would never get bored of that! It should have been a very peaceful area there wasn't it?

My cover photo is our backyard..we don't own the ricefields ...but we get to have a good view specially when the fields are green

Woww really? That is absolutely stunning! You make me so jealous!

Hey Sha who wouldn't be able to stop awhile and savor the scenery. Take it easy climbing rock ok.

Hahaha I will try not to fall of rocks anymore, doesn't sound that good. But the view here was definitely worth a stop indeed!

Stunning view!!

I hope you had fun visiting Siquijor. They have lots of sceneries to offer including the Cambugahay Falls! Were you able to visit the falls?

They are amazing! You have been there too? I am sure you enjoyed the place there! Thank you for passing by :)

Sha

I did! Although I wasnt able to deep into the fall cause it rained earlier that day which made the falls a bit dirty. You should have gone to dumaguete for the twin lakes and some waterfalls! 250A27B8-9188-4C34-971B-2CBE579C8347.jpeg

That looks indeed a little muddy! I was lucky I guess! It is a good reason to go back there some day :p
