The little Island where my mother was born and spent her entire teenage life. This third smallest Island in the Philippines was called by the Spaniards as The Magical Island of Fire because of the molave trees that cover the hills and the fireflies in them. Today it is called as the Mystical Island of Siquijor, a name synonymous with witchcraft and voodoo. But this little island has best and interesting tourist spots to spend your summer vacation.

One of the place must-go for every traveler, whether one is looking for adventure or just want to relax. You’ll pass by lots of trees on the way to the resort. It’s quiet, serene, and peaceful. Aside from having a crystal clear water and a white sand, Salagdoong also have a diving board 20 meters (66 feet) above sea level that you shouldn’t miss.
