One of the really undervalued beauties about riding a motorcycle is the ability to smell the smells. It really becomes a plus in a setting like this. The air is just sweet with the trees.
I was really lucky this time. Less than a week after I went through a major fire broke out and actually crossed the road. Where the air was pretty and sweet when I was there a week later it would be burned and caustic. That fire is still burning, and may go on until it snows. Which will not be too long in Glacier.
Fires are devastating, let's hope everything goes back to the way it was before. A big hello and a happy day.
