I know, Japanese train is well known all over the world. Also there are many people in Japan who really like it. So today, I would like to show you Japanese train. Additionally you know, Japan has many kind of trains like Shinkansen, subway train, ordinary train and tram so on. So from now, I want to write about Japanese tram, because I live in Nagasaki city and here has trams.
The city where has tram is a few in Japan. There are only 19 cities. In Kyushu, there are only 3 cities where has tram which is Kumamoto city, Kagoshima city, and here; Nagasaki city. The tram in Nagasaki has 100 years histories. But it is very convenient transportation here until now. Thus, many citizens and students use this train every day. Also I am.
The sharp of tram is like long box, and the usually color is green and yellow. But these days, tram has various color like white, only yellow.
Also these days the new type of tram was installed. If you met the new tram in Nagasaki, you will have something happy. The new type of tram is black and red. So we can recognize which is the new one easily.
Moreover some of trams are designed with cute color lately. Like this.
TBH I don’t think that the old one is dirty but I want to ride new one. the Inside of ordinary one is like below picture. There are 2 low seats and the center of 2 seats has strap for the person who standing.
The price of Nagasaki tram is ¥130 for adult and ¥70 for child at once. I think it is quite cheep. Also you can buy One-day streetcar pass. The cost is ¥500. If you come to Nagasaki for travel, I want to recommend you to buy this useful pass.
There are 40 tram stations in Nagasaki city and there are 5 lines. But you do not have to concern about it. I mean each station also has this route map.
I think that this map is quite simple compare to other cities map like this...
Finally you have to be careful about morning and evening. It means, the time is rush hour. If you encountered the crowded tram, you can ride on next train. The train comes every 3 or 5 minutes.
