Dear Steemit Friends
Is it just me or are alpacas the best animals ever? I imply, my god, simply look at their faces! How can you not love them?
Pleasant, fluffy creatures that just ooze sass and attraction, i would go so far as to say that alpacas are my spirit animal.
If you happen to comply with me on social media over the years, you possibly can have probably seen me freak out at one point or one other when I spot an alpaca at the same time travelling. Actually, in many instances i go out of my way to talk over with alpaca farms. Due to the fact that why no longer.
And certain, llamas definitely make me completely satisfied and smile too, but alpacas are the extra lovely little cousins.
Their colorful, hypoallergenic fleece is softer than any wool you could bury your face in, and lets be honest, generally their hair patterns and cuts can make even the grumpiest character chuckle.
And dont even get me began on the humorous sounds they make!
Its a Monday right here and that i concept I am go forward and share a few of my favorite alpaca pics from a recent shuttle to make you smile. Experience!
I quite often stop and say hello to alpacas in New Zealand after I go by a paddock and i suppose no one it staring at. How are you going to now not?
However before I run away with myself and start to sound even more odd than I already do, let me just share with you a secret powerful spot in New Zealand where that you can talk over with alpacas your self.
Shamarra Alpacas is a farm tucked away on the stunning Banks Peninsula near Akaroa south of Christchurch. Canterbury is one among my favorite areas in New Zealand in view that it has simply a lot to do right here, and Banks Peninsula Ive discovered to be probably the most underrated however first-rate spots around.
Actually, that is one of my secret getaways in New Zealand, so be cool about it, good enough?
I first heard about this place from my buddy Jodi from legal Nomads, who additionally shares my weird fondness for alpacas.
Shamarra Alpacas is a gorgeous farm most effective 20 minutes from the little French town of Akaroa with probably the most strong views of the surrounding harbors and volcanic crater. Rolling hills meet turquoise water right here making it a gorgeous little spot to getaway from all of it.
That you can join in on a farm tour and wander around the fields and say good day to the alpacas all without possibly pissing off the farmers. Although to be reasonable, Ive observed most persons who elevate alpacas are super friendly. Or just a little bit weird.
Frank and Anya who run Shamarra are rather great and beautiful and have been farming alpaca for over a decade.
I had a pleasant afternoon running across the paddocks and seeking to make acquaintances with the herd, chiefly the babies. Although they werent having any of it, besides after I fed them.
And now Ive bought a brand new dream of relocating to Banks Peninsula, buying a farm and raising youngster alpacas. Whos with me?
Thanks
Well, we definitely don't have those in Portugal :D
