Hello, my dear friends. After my trip to the South of Ukraine I decided to go to the North to spend 2 days in the woods. When making the choice I wasn't expected it will be so close to the wild nature.
It's a king of trip I prefer to buy from a travel company. And the first reason is the isolated corners of Ukraine are almost unreachable by car. I don't mean it literally, but your vehicle will probably need an expensive repairing.
The second reason is that travel company tour makes it easier to get and explore and live in a naturalreserve.
Now, Polissia.
It a large territory in the northern part of Ukraine that borders with Belarus. The name came from Ukrainian word "forest". This is a unique ecosystem and initial place of adobe for a plenty of birds and animals.
Almost all of my friends in travel have been here and were just delightful about everything. So... I didn't go deep into details.
We started Friday evening and get to the destination when it was completely dark. To be honest, forest in the dark looks not too welcoming.
The conditions of living were a bit of spartan. Everything you take as a minimum norm in the town like toilet, bathroom, water were outside, somewhere in darkness. No light outside, just our flashlights. The heating system in wooden houses is burning wood. The beds are made warmer in a funny way.
These all can be charming and fun for an urban citizen. But.... the man in the next room was snoring so noisy that I could fall asleep only in the morning when he woke up, and my only half-hour dream was about I am going back home. Besides, it got cold in the night as our house turned out to be the coldest one.
But as it is a far end, there is only 1 bus route to get out of here and it was at 6am... So I was promised to be moved to a more quiet and warm house.
So despite of a morning coffee and womderful weather I look and feel like a walking dead all the day. As I am writing this post I am very much amused by mobile coverage and Internet availability.
Anyway I did manage 1 walk along the eco trail. It was very exciting if I can use this word :) Photos are not many as the Internet is slow.
This way the wild honey grows:
But after a light dinner I felt too tired to continue, so I gave all the photo equipment to my husband and let him go with a group to explore places of beaver's inhabiting.
I am sitting in the sun listening to the sounds of wind and trees and birds and saving my energy as I am going to climb up this watch tower closer to the sunset. Sounds like ZEN...
This will be all for today :) Have a nice day among civilization and comfort and learn to appreciate every moment of your life with me :)
Thank you so much to make it to the end. Hopefully, see you tomorrow!
From woods with love,
@zirochka
P. S. I swear you've never seen anything like a shower here... :)
Great adventure i will love to visit too.
Thank you so much, and you're always welcome ;)
Гарні фото. Чудова природа !)

I love that place.. Exciting adventure.
only the bed is not nice :D
As I said, you didn't see the shower... ))
Великолепная история. Сочувствую по поводу ужасной компании и плохого сна. Фото великолепные. Думаю, второй день будет по-лучше. Удачи Вам и отличного сна.
So... you don't like my snoring??? And I did my best to snore a charming old flemish song, just for you... think you're a bit ungrateful :-)
I guess I am a bit ungrateful because I still don't have a recording of your charming flemish shoring ;)
