Challenge - Stay home, share 3 travel photos (Day 3)

This is my third entry in the Stay home, share 3 travel photos challenge by @psos. Details can be found here.

Today i am sharing pictures of Malta, a beautiful, small country at the south of Europe.

Malta has been inhabited since approximately 6000 BC, and because of its location, it has been coveted, and conquered, by many different races (source). It is therefore steeped in history. It also has a fascinating landscape; some sheer limestone cliffs, some beautiful caves.

The name 'Malta' is again the name of both an archipelago, and an island. The Maltese archipelago includes the islands Malta, Gozo, and Comino. I really liked Gozo, it had more charm, and the following pictures were taken from there.

There's a lot to do in Malta; i had a great time. And i probably had too much ice cream. Italian ice cream; gelato.
