Hans Christain Andersen is one of the authors I look up to. Some of his stories are my favorite like "The Little Match Girl," too sad it didn't have a happy ending.

    Andersen definitely had a biting, bittersweet realism to his work and yet it's also very sweet and almost innocent. A real talent.
