In my second week here in Canada I was privileged to see the beautiful log cabin and country homes of Muskoka.True to their claim,"once discovered never forgotten"I can't help recall the serenity of our accommodation expensive if converted to Philippine money but definitely recommendable Taboo Resort no less. !!
Look at that and tell me your never dream of staying in one. The resort has water sports, hiking, table tennis, campfires, swimming, canoeing, movie flick among others for it so guest. Too bad I didn't bring my swimwear so I just go for nature watching.
That's ate Elsa and I doing our daily morning jog careful of the possibility of getting face to face with a black bear.
In our many days of slowpaced life we enjoyed the fresh air, lush vegetation and sweet smelling flowers, white sand beach and of course full belly from all the cooking when batch after batch of visitors came to explore with us.
Some of them stayed for the night or two while just others just hours so most of the time just us exhanging life stories that made us to the person that we are.
So on most days we are at the pool or the water docks. Where there are wooden chairs one can seat know while waiting for the sunrise and sunset to start and end a day I particularly enjoy this spot.
So what do I like about this place other than it being safe and clean
Well, one the accommodation is really posh considering it's a high end resort.
Imagine a king sized bed, hot and cold shower, Wi-Fi ready, with bath tub and cable for a room? Well that's was all mine to enjoy. I was lucky
Moreover, their poolside view was child friendly also. A good book was all you need to pass time if you can resist dozing off
Lastly, the staffs are kind and helpful. Need I say very very safe also. One can definitely enjoy the tranquillity of the place as there any no noisy neighbours to deal with and the breeze is so
fresh cool .
So yes if you got the time do check this one out again it's Taboo resort, Muskoka for you if you wish to do some soul searching or just memories with your loved ones
Check it out now and book early as I read the prices vary depending on season and availability as you already know
We had a great time and so should you.
