I have been in Canada for almost three months now. And mind you kensington market top my list of places to visit. Why?Well it's unique and full of life.
Sure you can argue that you can always see people in costumes like this. This is by the way Canada's Spiderman. He is one of too many performers you will brush with as you go through this spot that spells cultural diversity like no other.
Yeah that's me taking free pictures with him though of course I am sure he would appreciate donations.
That's Erma my college nursing classmate and we hail from the same province. One look at their road sign and you'd most likely have an idea of what Kensington market is all about
In this place, humanity is celebrated. Various restaurants offering different cuisines abound. An array of performers are welcomed and art is viewed in different perspectives. solidarity despite individual differences is best put to life here.
A car turned into a plant pot why not! As you stroll I'm sure one can get an inspiration for his new creation. At best, one can learn that there is a huge world worthy of our time and our best selves that we need not make others feel less of themselves just because they don't share our believes
We were lucky to have chitchat with the artist themselves and luckier to strike a souvenir post with them.
It's hard to define what this place is in one word really.Soni suppose it's best to just say it's my favourite hang out place in Toronto .
From the pictures you an say this location attracts anyone with a carefree spirit. This it's common to see musicians, painters and photographers here. The street art for example is impressive .
The place is clean and orderly and the smell.of is heavenly too.
I was surprised of the diversity of things you can buy here .
We were lucky that the weather was comfy for lazy walks and there was an ongoing jazz festival. So yeah as you can imagine we did also listen to some songs with the locals.
The religious beliefs are also encouraged here. Seeing for oneself that multicultural society is possible may convince you that world peace might just be around the corner.
I prepared a video just in case you aren't sold out yet to the idea that this is worth your dollar and time.
And if in case you missed out on my earlier post I just want to tell you I love graffiti .So here's another video taken in same market. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did
Thanks for reading and till then.
Kind regards,
Ayn
